About the Role As a Working Foreman / Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations while remaining actively involved on site when required. You will lead a team of skilled carpenters and subcontractors, ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard, and work closely with the Director to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise carpenters, trades and subcontractors on site
- Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects run safely, efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Liaise directly with clients, architects and consultants throughout the build process
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Manage site safety and maintain a clean, organised work environment
- Work closely with the Director to plan, programme and deliver projects successfully
- Assist with problem-solving and decision-making on site
- Proven experience as a Working Foreman, Site Supervisor or Leading Hand within residential construction
- Strong carpentry background with excellent technical knowledge
- Experience delivering architecturally designed homes or luxury residential projects
- Exceptional communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to lead teams and maintain strong relationships with trades and suppliers
- Highly organised with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Commitment to quality workmanship and professional presentation
- Valid driver's licence and relevant industry qualifications
- Salary up to $130,000 + Super
