A busy and well-respected steel fabrication company
based in Mulgrave, seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator
to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent hourly rates and plenty of overtime opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Fabrication of structural and architectural steel components
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and plans
- Working with various steel types and thicknesses
- Operating fabrication equipment (cutting, drilling, welding, grinding)
- Ensuring quality and accuracy in all fabricated components
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- As a Fabricator you will have a proven experience as a steel fabricator or welder in a workshop environment
- The Fabricator will have strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- The Fabricator will have proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques
- Trade qualified (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
- Commitment to safety and high work standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- $45 per hour + Super
